SoCalGas President Maryam Brown recently joined Spectrum 1's "Inside the Issues with Alex Cohen" program to discuss our Angeles Link proposal. The interview comes just after the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development announced California's intent to develop a statewide renewable hydrogen hub. According to the announcement, the state plans to apply for federal funding available through the bipartisan Infrastructure and Jobs Act.
In addition to the governor's announcement, the Los Angeles City Council also unanimously passed a motion in support of establishing a green hydrogen hub in the Los Angeles metro area.
Importantly, Angeles Link is a major step toward broad-based hydrogen adoption in California and is strategically aligned with the state’s vision of developing a hydrogen hub under Gov. Newsom’s leadership.
